On December 12, 2024, Utah’s Third District Court issued an order placing Opticare of Utah into liquidation.
The liquidation order appoints the Utah Insurance Commissioner as the company’s liquidator, and authorizes the Commissioner to:
- appoint a special deputy liquidator;
- take possession of all company assets (including property and contracts); and
- liquidate those assets to pay the debts and obligations of the company.
