Captive
Captive insurance companies in Utah must only use providers that have been approved by the Utah Insurance Department. Captive Management firms assist the owners in understanding the laws and rules of the State of Utah, and in managing the day-to-day operations of their captive insurance company.
Experienced and knowledgeable service providers are approved to assist the captive to prepare and submit feasibility studies, actuarial opinions, audit reports, and annual financial statements. Utah reviews and approves captive managers, actuaries, and auditors.
