R590 and R592

Insurance rules are issued to implement or interpret the Utah Insurance Code or federal mandates and have the effect of law.

R590. Insurance, Administration. These rules regulate the sale of all insurance and insurance-related products in the state.

R592. Insurance, Title and Escrow Commission. These rules are specific to the sale of title insurance and performance of title-related escrow business in the state.

Petition for a Rule Change

A law passed by the 2006 Legislature sets up a procedure to petition a state agency to amend or repeal existing rules. The following links will provide you with a petition form, as well as a link to the law and rule regarding it.
